MDI’s Learn Safe Call Center Receives Order from Presidio, Texas Independent School District

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – August 14, 2008 - MDI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDII), announces its LearnSafe® Call Center received a purchase order from the Presidio, Texas Independent School District for a wireless video surveillance system. MDI is preparing these products for shipment to the district for installation in their administrative, elementary, and transportation facilities.

MDI’s LearnSafe Call Center is actively working with other public school districts to promote and sell LearnSafe® products and services. As the LearnSafe Call Center receives additional purchase orders, it will include these on the www.LearnSafe.org website.
